A friend from New York was shocked when he received this appeal from the "Party of No." The friend is a lifelong, registered Democrat. He wants to know how the Robocrats got his information. He is fuming over the nerve of the rich boys asking him for money. He worries that ithe Repiglicans have hacked into secure Democratic sites or lists.
Here is the appeal:
Our Party needs your immediate support to give John Boehner another Republican vote in the U.S. House to stop Barack Obama's extreme left tax, borrow and spend agenda.
On Tuesday, September 13th, voters will elect a new Representative in New York's 9th Congressional District to replace disgraced Democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner.
We have a strong conservative candidate in Bob Turner who has the opportunity to win a congressional seat in the heart of New York City. He is facing a career politician who will vote in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi in support of Barack Obama's failed economic policies that have added $4 trillion to our national debt in only three years. The Obama Democrats just put $500,000 into the race to defeat Bob Turner and keep this seat in their liberal hands.
Recent polling shows this is now a TIED race -- clearly one we can win if we get our voters to the polls.
Frank, the Republican National Committee is doing our part to Get-Out-The-Vote by funding a "Phone from Home" program that allows local volunteers to reach voters from their home phone, cell phone or even computer. In a district where Democrat voters outnumber Republicans 3-1, voter turnout will be the key to victory. But in order for this effort to succeed, our Party needs the last-minute support of grassroots leaders like you.
Please make an urgent campaign contribution of $25, $50, $100 or more to the RNC today to help counter the Obama Democrats' $500,000 and provide the critical Get-Out-the-Vote services Bob Turner needs to win this special election race. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Reince Priebus
Chairman, Republican National Committee
P.S. Frank, you can make a difference by contributing a special donation of $25, $50, $100 or more right now. Every Republican vote is vital to cutting government spending, slashing our massive debt and stopping Barack Obama's big government, higher taxes ambitions. Thank you.
