The right-wingers are wigging out. They are maligning African-Americans, Latinos, women, students, seniors at every turn. Wing-nut websites are predicting Armageddon. They say there will be armed confrontation. Tin foil hatters are inundating the Internet with claims that a bogeyman is under every bed in the U.S. because Barack Obama is running for re-election. 

It’s really sad that these folks spend their time making up stuff. If they want to believe in Republican candidates whose positions change hourly that’s fine. But, what is the deal with these yahoos that they must lie, cheat, swamp the campaign with secret dollars, voter intimidation,  and threats of violence? As if those things aren’t reprehensible enough--the GOP is set to reprise its Florida coup of  2000, which brought Dubya to the WH.
